I went to St Johns while in London, which is a bit of a dream of mine and Al's. I took heaps of photos of the food for Al (as he is back in NZ), but turned the flash off to limit the embarrassment. So the colours do not do this dish justice - the smoking had left the fish skin an incredible bronze colour - and this dish, like all the others, arrived with the bare essentials - so simple. As was the fit-out. This meal was fun - a few innards going down, some good french wine and lots of 'smashing' company. Thanks to all those who came!
