Feast of Canterbury started yesterday - the first food focused month run in Christchurch in a while. We went to a 45 minute express lunch today at Mercato - brilliant concept. Drop in, watch Ngaire cook with the amazing ingredients that they sell there - combine it with a glass of pinot, and you can be back at work by 1pm! Check out the 'ornamental brascica' as the table setting. Nice....(as was the buffalo mozerella, tomato and basil salad, and the sauteed chicken livers with Rachel Scott levan bread, Cracker of a Nut walnuts and some awesome olive oil and Raspberry vincoto)..
